David Neighbours, a Partner, joined WCP in 2003. Prior to WCP, Mr. Neighbours worked for Citigroup Investments in New York where he was responsible for the analysis, due diligence and execution of numerous private equity, mezzanine and structured product investments in a variety of industries, including communications, consumer products, financial services, healthcare and leisure. Previously, Mr. Neighbours worked at Salomon Smith Barney in New York, where he was a founding member of the firmís proprietary investment group, SSB Capital Partners, and prior to that, in the firmís investment banking division.
Mr. Neighbours holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame. He currently serves on the Board of Ivy Rehab and United Vision Partners and as Chairman of Dimensional Management. He previously served as a member of the Board of several of WCPís portfolio companies including Acadia Healthcare Company (NASDAQ: ACHC), Adreima, Cogent Healthcare and Regency Hospital Company, among others.
In addition to his activities at WCP, Mr. Neighbours serves as a member of the Rush University Medical Center Associates Board. Mr. Neighbours was also a founding officer of The Healthcare Private Equity Association, a non-profit trade association that represents the U.S. healthcare private equity industry.
